Fall is here! School is back in session, the weather is getting cooler at night and the leaves are starting to turn colors. Living in the midwest we are lucky to have all 4 seasons. Every time a new season starts it’s like a start-over or try something new kind of time. If you have been slacking a bit this summer-don’t worry, this 3 tips will help you jump start your healthy routine.
- Plan. I can’t say this 1 word enough-PLAN. Plan your meals, plan your meal prep day, plan when you go grocery shopping, plan your workouts. Take a few minutes to look over your weekly schedule then plan out your meals accordingly. If there is a night when no one is going to home together make a slow cooker supper or cook 1 meal earlier in the week and then re-heat the leftovers. Plan your workouts. Look at your weekly schedule and see where you can get in your cardio and strength training workouts. Your workouts don’t need to last hours, 20-30 minutes will suffice. PLAN.
