2. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)-This type of exercise involves pairing quick but intense bursts of physical activity with brief periods of rest. Doing so works to keep your heart rate elevated, boosts fat burning, and promotes sustainable fat loss. For instance, you can alternate different types of cardio by walking then jogging or running for 30 seconds at a time. 3. Intermittent Fasting (IF)-Intermittent fasting is an extremely effective fat loss strategy when done properly. With this strategy, you spend time in the “fed” or “feeding state,” and time in the “fast” or “fasting state”. When you do this, your body turns to fat for fuel instead of glucose, or sugar. At the FASTer Way we recommend and regularly use the 16:8 protocol, which asks that individuals keep their “feeding window” to 8 hours per day and their “fasting window” to 16 hours a day – mainly overnight! It’s crucial to get all of your body’s required nutrients within that “feeding window” and not deprive your body of the tools it needs to give you the new you!
