Blueberry Muffin Smoothie


This delicious recipe is from one of my clients, Laura.  It is AMAZING and you need to try it NOW!!  If you love blueberry muffins, this is for you.  Thanks Laura for sharing!!

1/2 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk

1/3 cup uncooked oatmeal

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

2 TBSP greek non fat yogurt

2 inches of a frozen banana

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 tsp lemon zest

Put everything in a blender and blend well.  Makes 1 serving.


*To make this a Balanced Habit 3 unit meal decrease protein powder to 14 grams and add 6 nuts or 1 TBSP chopped nuts to smoothie.
