Healthier Snicker Bars

The most controversial posts I have ever made. This post went viral on Facebook and Instagram and created a lot of comments, most of them not so nice. The problem with trolls is that it is easy to say mean things to someone when you are hiding behind your computer. AND for all of you that are going to hate on the word healthier just note that I don’t recommend eating the whole pan at once 🙂 Have a piece-enjoy it and move on.

Healthier Snicker Bars

40 pitted and halved dates

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup chopped almonds

1/2 cup melted peanut butter

Melted chocolate

Cut and pit dates, spread them out on a baking sheet. Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the dates. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and almonds over the dates. Melt chocolate and drizzle over the peanut butter. Spread the chocolate carefully so all dates are covered. Sprinkle with sea salt and freeze for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy! Store in the freezer.
