How Group Training Can Help You Shed Fat

Group Training has been around the fitness community for a while but it has just starting gaining popularity the last couple of years.  Group Training is training done in a group with a personal trainer leading it.  At Body Works Group Training is done with no more than 10 people.  Our personal trainers design the workouts and lead the workouts.  So, how can group training help you shed fat and why you should try it:

  1. Group Training consists of cardio and strength endurance moves.  Cardio will help you to blast fat while lifting weights will create lean muscle.  More muscle on your body = less fat.
  2. Working out with a group helps you build camaraderie and accountability.  We all know working out on our own is hard to do.  There is no on there to push you or to keep you going.  It is much easier to quit when you are working out on your own than when you are in a group and other people are there to help you keep going.
  3. Trainer made workouts.  You don’t have to think about what you should do or how to do a certain exercise.  Our personal trainers are there to lead the workouts and make sure you are doing them correctly.
  4. Nutrition guidance.  99% of people struggle with nutrition.  Body Works Group Training membership helps you with nutrition.  We can be as involved in the nutrition process as you want us to be.
  5. Easy on the pocket book.  Group Training is less expensive then 1-on-1 training BUT you still get a workout designed by a personal trainer and the trainer leads the group.  So, it like personal training just in a group.
  6. It’s FUN.  Most people don’t think exercising is fun.  Which is why if you can have FUN while you workout you will stick with the program longer and see success!
