Pecan Pie Protein Bites

If you like pecan pie these little bites will be your new favorites. I love pecan pie but no one else in my family does so I never make it and when I do I end of throwing away most of the pie. So, I saw this recipe and added my own twist to it and voila pecan pie protein bites. Tastes like pecan pie but without all the added sugar and I can eat them all!

Pecan Pie Protein Bites

1 cup pecans

1 packed cup of dates, pitted

20g of vanilla chai protein powder (if you only have vanilla add a dash of cinnamon/pumpkin pie spices)

1/2tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

water (read directions)

Put everything in a food processor and blend until sticky. Add 1 TBSP of water at a time until you reach the desired consistency. If the dates are dry you can soak them in hot water for 10 minutes before making this recipe.

Roll into 15 balls. Store in freezer or refrigerator.
