Peppermint Bark Energy Bites

It’s the holiday season, so how do you stay on track with your wellness goals?

Here are some of my tips and a recipe that tastes like a holiday cookie but it’s healthy!

  1. Bring a healthy dish to share at your holiday party. That way there is at least 1 item that is healthy someone else will be glad you brought it.
  2. Fill up on protein+veggies. When you are filling up your plate fill up with protein and veggies then add the cookies, jello salads…etc. This will help you stay satisfied and still enjoy all the dishes.
  3. Eat your favorite Christmas cookie. YES, eat the cookies. It’s the holidays so eat the cookies/desserts that are special to you this time of year. Enjoy them and move on. Memories over macros 🙂

Put everything in a bowl except the candy canes and mix together very well. Make into 6 small balls. I like to use a small cookie scoop. Roll the balls in the crushed candy canes.

*If you can’t find peppermint protein powder use 1 scoop of vanilla and a dash of peppermint extract
