Protein Mug Cake

Are you ready for a delicious high protein dessert? This one is so easy and takes no time to bake. You can eat your dessert and be healthy.

Protein Mug Cake

Ingredients

1 tbsp almond milk

20g chocolate protein powder

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp coconut flour

1 tsp maple syrup

dash of vanilla extract

pinch of sea salt

1 egg

1 tbsp chocolate chips

In a bowl whisk together egg and milk then stir in vanilla and maple syrup. Stir in flour, protein powder, salt and cocoa powder. The chocolate chips can be added to the batter or put on top of the cake before baking.

Spray a ramekin or coffee mug with non stick spray and pour the batter in. Microwave for 30 seconds. Check for consistency. If you want a more “cake like” texture microwave for 30-40 more seconds. It will be hot coming out of the microwave. Top with whipped topping and enjoy!
