Pumpkin Pie Smoothie


It is officially fall in the Midwest.  The leaves are turning colors, it’s getting colder outside and it’s all about the pumpkin!!  On the gray fall days there is nothing better then a cup of coffee and a good magazine.  I rarely have time to just sit and do nothing so when I can I always reach for my Food Network magazine (yes, I like actually magazines not on my phone but ones I can hold) and a great cup of coffee.  BTW I found these amazing jeans and sweatshirt at The Stash in Waconia, MN

But, on to what the blog post is about: Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!!  Everything is pumpkin right now-Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin smoothies, pumpkin pie……etc.  So, to embrace the all things pumpkin season I created this delicious, healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!  I can’t wait for you to try it!!!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

4oz almond milk

21 grams of vanilla protein powder

2 heaping TBSP pumpkin puree

1 tsp vanilla non fat greek yogurt

2 tsp chopped pecans

2 inches of a frozen banana

cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice (use how much you like)

Blend well and enjoy!
