Stay Fit in Vegas

 

It’s time to go on vacation!  Are you headed to Las Vegas for a long weekend trip?  If so, this post is for you.  Today we are going to learn how we can stay fit while vacationing in the fabulous city of Las Vegas!.

You worked really hard at the gym and stayed on track with your nutrition so let’s not gain the weight back that you lost before going to Vegas with these easy to implement tips.

 

  1. Hotel room workouts- You can squeeze in a quick 10 minute workout in your hotel room using no weights. Squeeze this workout in before hitting the casino tables and you will feel refreshed and ready to WIN!   Here is a hotel room workout you can do:

20 reps, 3 sets

Body weight squat

Push ups

Side plank dips

Single leg hip bridge

Body weight lunges

 

 

 

  1. Use the amazing gym at your hotel-there are cardio machines, free weights, a stretching area and sometimes a cable cross or weight trainer machine. I know when I was at the Luxor I used the hotel gym every day. Take 30 minutes to get in a full body workout. The workout will keep you on track with your health and fitness goals plus if you decide to splurge on that delicious looking dessert or drink it’s ok.  AND you won’t come home having gained the weight you worked so hard to take off before going.
  2. Walk around-the strip and the downtown area of Las Vegas has lots to see and do.  Get outside and check out the sights and sounds of Vegas!  Try getting in 10,000 steps each day.
  3. Get off the strip-there is more to Las Vegas then poker tables and the pools. Ask your hotel concierge about hiking trails that are close by.  Pack a water bottle and a snack for a day on the hiking trails.
