What diet are you on this week? Keto, Palo, Gluten-free, low carb, low fat…..etc???  Why do we keep trying diets that don’t work?  All of the above listed diets will work in the short term but they are not sustainable.  (unless you need to be gluten-free-then you have to do it 🙂 )  Stop looking for the quick fix-it didn’t take you 1 month to gain 50lbs, you are NOT going to lose 50lbs in 1 month.

I understand you want a quick fix.  I understand you want to lose the weight-right now.  I understand you want to see change, quickly.  We all do.  We are all impatient.  But again, did you gain the weight in 1 month?? NO, you did not-so STOP expecting to lose the weight in 1 month.

What does work???  Something that you can do for your life.  It has to be sustainable for you.  Can you never eat out again? Can you never eat bread again? Can you never eat fruit again? I’m going to guess you said NO to all of those questions.  If you are looking to change your life, lose weight, get healthy then you need to find the program that works for you.  And believe me it is not any of the ones listed in the beginning!

A majority of people can not lose weight on their own.  You need help, you need to learn new habits, new goals, mindset tips….etc.  AND you need to be ready to do what it takes to lose weight.  You do need to learn new healthy habits, you might have to stop eating certain foods for a while to get the cravings out of your system.  But losing weight will only work if you are ready to lose weight.

Einstein says, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”  

If this is YOU then you need to realize you will not lose weight until you are ready to change your mindset.  Once you are ready to change your mindset and change your habits then you will lose weight.  Getting the healthy body you desire does not have to be hard, but you do have to take responsibility for your actions and stop making excuses.  No one else can do this for you.
