Strawberry Acai Bowl

I love acai bowls. It doesn’t matter if it is summer, spring, winter or fall I love eating a thick smoothie bowl with a spoon. It’s like ice cream only healthy for you!

The trick to getting really thick acai/smoothie bowls is your blender. I have been using the Pampered Chef Deluxe Cooking Blender and it is amazing. It even has a smoothie setting!! And no, I am not getting paid to talk about this blender 🙂 BUT this blender really is amazing. I have been making my own nut butters, homemade soups, sauces, smoothies…etc. It even cooks the soup in the blender. If you are in the market for a new blender I would highly recommend this one.

Ok, back to the acai bowl. Today I put strawberries and acai in the blender with a little bit of almond milk. I generally use whatever frozen fruit I have on hand with the acai packet and they all turn out delicious.

Strawberry Acai Bowl

1 packet of frozen acai

3/4 cup frozen strawberries

1/4 cup milk-possibly more depending on how thin/thick you want it and if your blender can handle all the frozen fruit

1 scoop Vanilla Life Shake

2 Scoops Collagen-9

1/2 banana

1/3 cup grain free coconut granola

1 tsp cashew butter

In your blender combine acai packet, strawberries, Life shake, collagen-9 and milk. Blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with granola, sliced banana and drizzle of cashew butter.

Feel free to change up your toppings. Blueberries and shredded coconut would be delicious on this bowl too!
