You’ll pay for Pilates but not nutrition?!
You will spend money on workout classes, boutique studios, gym clothes but refuse to invest in the one thing that makes the most difference, nutrition. You’re fine spending $180+/month on workouts but refuse to acknowledge the reason you aren’t seeing changes is because you won’t fix your nutrition.
Here’s the hard truth: fat loss happens in the kitchen. You can’t outexercise your diet. Believe me, I have tried for YEARS and if you could out exercise your diet I would be the queen of that. Exercise is important but nutrition is 80% of your fat loss results. Exercise won’t undo inconsistent eating, it doesn’t fix under-eating and it doesn’t properly fuel your body for your workouts.
Most of you avoid paying for nutrition help because you think, “I’ll just eat less and lose weight” but that doesn’t work if you are over 35 or if you have been on a diet forever. When I have a call with a potential client I hear this a lot too, “tracking is too hard”. Yup, anything new is hard. It will be hard for the first 5 days but then it gets easier and only takes a few minutes. If I told you, you could lose fat but you just had to take a few minutes out of your day to track your food-would you?
Nutrition is an investment NOT a cost. You are already spending money just on the wrong things…..
Like: Doordash, eating out, Starbucks, too many cocktails, supplements that don’t work, detoxes…..the list goes on.
Instead of spending your money on this that are not helping you, put that money towards what will help you like, buying enough protein, supplements (if needed), coaching, learning your macros, meal prep staples. It’s not about making fancy meals it’s about consistency and doing the basics.
If you only focus on your workouts you will feel:
hungrier, snack more, you under-eat protein, you lose muscle instead of fat, you get tired and inflamed, progress stalls-you’re basically doing expensive workouts to maintain the same body.
What happens when you focus on nutrition+workouts:
- more energy
- less cravings
- better sleep
- reduced inflammation/bloating
- improved strength results
- better hormone support
- visible fat loss + body recomp
You don’t just look better. You feel in control again.
Here are some simple tips to start with:
Hit protein at every meal, Build meals around 3 staples, Keep grab-and-go options ready, Plan 2 easy dinners on repeat, Grocery list strategy, Buy convenience protein (rotisserie chicken, frozen meat, Greek yogurt)
You can’t out-train a chaotic diet. If you’re ready to stop guessing and finally get a plan that works with your hormones, I have support for you!! Macro coaching (for those that are more do-it-yourself gals) or my 21 Day Reset (for those that need more support).
